Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of Castle, an entertainment service catering to Indian consumers, available on Android 6.0 or later (the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or otherwise accessing Castle’s content, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable Indian laws. If you do not agree to any of these provisions, immediately cease using Castle.

1. Grant of Limited License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Castle solely for your personal, non-commercial use. This license includes access to core functionalities such as streaming content, downloading content for offline viewing, accessing live TV channels and sporting events, as well as benefits including multi-language subtitles, adaptive streaming, and intuitive content discovery tools.

Commercial use of Castle is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, hosting public screenings, selling access to content or the Castle player platform, monetizing content accessed through the Service, and reselling any of our services.

2. Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use Castle in a responsible, legal manner and refrain from any behavior deemed unacceptable by Castle’s developers. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

(1) Modifying, reverse-engineering, hacking, or using any code exploits that threaten the Service’s security, features, or functionality;

(2) Distributing modified versions of the App through repackaging or any other methods;

(3) Transmitting unauthorized content through Castle and making it available within Indian territory;

(4) Accessing Castle using unofficial software (such as "hacks", "cheats", or other tools) to generate access keys, or seeking registration information for accounts terminated due to violations of these Terms;

(5) Exploiting app errors to gain unauthorized privileges (e.g., copying content from others and posting it without permission).

3. Content Ownership & Usage Restrictions

All content available on Castle — including films, web series, sports content, TV channels, and other digital media — is exclusively owned by their respective rights holders. Castle merely grants you limited access to this content; you do not acquire any ownership rights to any content, the App, or related materials.

Downloaded content may only be used for offline viewing within the Castle app and may not be shared or stored across multiple devices. We assume no responsibility for allegations of copyright infringement related to content created, uploaded, or shared by third parties.

4. Warranty Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Castle is provided "as-is" without any express or implied warranties. We do not guarantee a free service, error-free streaming, compatibility with every Android 6.0+ device, or uninterrupted access to all content. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any features, content, or the entire Service at any time, with or without notice.

We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages (including, but not limited to, loss of content access, poor device performance) resulting from your use of Castle. By using the Service, you assume all risks associated with its use.

5. Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate your access to Castle immediately if you violate these Terms or applicable Indian laws. Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of Castle and delete all downloaded content from your devices.

Provisions related to copyright, limitation of liability, and governing law shall survive any termination of your access to the Service.

6. General Provisions & Contact

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Indian law, and the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes arising out of or in connection with your use of Castle.

We may update these Terms from time to time. All changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of Castle following the posting of updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
